tutorial is over here ==================================================================== ok prop_physics are items ingame that can move basicly. so to create one. use the entity tool and instead of info_playerstart type in prop_physics. then place one on the floor. open the propertys and brows for world mdl. im going to use some oil drums and crates. palce thoughs around how u would like. then replace the entity selection from prop_physics to item suit. place that in your character. then repalce that with weapon_crowbar. weapons are always weapon_weapons name there are no odd names to remember. and then place that where u want. then compile your map and play around a bit ============================================ next tutorial is cube map and npcs

Unnamed Hammer Project - Early Stages 7/3/10

AUDIO/VIDEO BE OUT OF SYNC. MAKE PANCAKE ANGRY. In the past week or so I got around to starting up the Source SDK and played around with hammer. After learning a few new tricks and how to use triggers and entities, I decided to make a little singleplayer mod with one or two maps. Nothing special, not overhauling the engine or anything, just a simple mod. After DL'ing a few custom weapon models (Thanks to FPSBanana and it's modelers) and designing the map a bit, this is the results. Please note that this is FAR from complete, this is the earliest stage of development (If it can even be called 'development'). There are plenty of problems in this alone that need to be sorted out, like a few texture bugs. This map runs off of the 2009 Version of the Source Engine and uses Half-Life 2: Episode Two as a base. Video recorded with SourceRecorder, and file size reduced via Sony Vegas Pro 9.0
